Seoul is a city known for its rich culture, history, and delicious cuisine. In this blog post, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite coffee and treats from my recent trip to Seoul.
Coffee
Seoul has a vibrant coffee culture, and there are many cafes to choose from. Here are some of the coffee shops that I visited:
- Café Amoretto: This cafe is known for its delicious coffee and beautiful interiors. The coffee is made from high-quality beans, and the baristas are skilled at making a variety of coffee drinks.
- Blue Bottle Café: This cafe is a popular choice among coffee lovers in Seoul. They offer a wide variety of coffee drinks, including pour-over coffee, espresso, and cold brew coffee.
- Paul Bassett Espresso: This cafe is known for its expertly crafted espresso drinks. They use high-quality coffee beans and have a team of skilled baristas who can make a variety of coffee drinks to perfection.
Treats
In addition to coffee, Seoul also has many delicious treats to offer. Here are some of the treats that I tried:
- Red Velvet Cake: This cake is a popular dessert in Korea. It has a light texture and is topped with cream cheese frosting. The cake is not too sweet, and the combination of the cream cheese and red velvet flavors is delicious.
- Bingsu: Bingsu is a Korean dessert that consists of shaved ice and sweet toppings. There are many different varieties of bingsu, including fruit, chocolate, and matcha. The shaved ice is refreshing, and the sweet toppings add a delicious flavor to the dessert.
- Gonggalppang: Gonggalppang is a Korean pastry that is filled with sweet red bean paste. The pastry has a flaky texture and is dusted with powdered sugar. It is a delicious treat that is perfect for a sweet tooth.
These are just a few of the delicious coffee and treats that you can find in Seoul. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, Seoul has something to offer for everyone. So if you’re ever in Seoul, be sure to try some of the local coffee and treats!
